Enotria the old
name of Apulia
To know the best wine of Abulia and Southern Italy and learn
how to drink it: talks with export wine waters, tour sto the
most important wine growing and producine brands and naturally
guided tastings of the best wine. This package also includes
a minicourse of wine water and a guided sampling of cigar
from Cuba and rum.
Nature
Discovering the best Apulian products: from the pure olive
oil to the wine (with the brief but extensive speeches about
them to know and appreciate them better), from the fine fresh
or mature cheese to the traditional salami and pork meats
with visit to the masserie, a type of communal housing of
the Apulian country which allowed the rural community to live
and work in autonomous groups, to assist at their production
and seasoning accompanied by taste experts that will explain
the secrets of all those milenary gestures. Fantastic moments
are assured in the WWF natural oasis in Torre Guaceto and
in Otranto.
Gourmet
It’s a voyage through the best apulian rastaurant and
wine vaults, from the best known to the unknown farm holiday
companies, through unusual gastronomical experiences like
a meal with the fishers at sea or with the “massari”,
the inhabitants of the Apulian country, with the possibilità
to take an active part in the production of focaccia, bread
and cheese and in the grape-harvesting and the picking of
olives and almonds. In this original idea the team building
is going to be replaced with Focaccia Building (1 day) and
Cooking Building (2/3 days).
Stones full of History
The cultural itinerary from the Baroque style of the city
Lecce to the dry-stone walls of the Itria Valley, from the
conical trulli to the fortified Masserie, from frederick’s
II castles to the cathedrals is a voyage throgh the history
of this land in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea made of
dominations, wars and conquests. The excursions are guided
by experts of history of art, historians and literary men.
